The 1st step onto the professional levels, as a certified assistance you’ll learn how to work with instructors and student divers.

open water instructor (owsi)

the 2nd main level of progression after divemaster is to become an open water scuba diver instructor which allows you to teach all dive courses from introduction to divemaster itself.

master scuba diver trainer (msdt)

becoming an msdt, master scuba diver trainer allows you to teach a minimum of 5 padi specialty courses expands your instructional abilities. Having the MSD rating yourself is a massive help as its at this point you learn what you will teach by the time you reach MSDT

Staff instructor (IDCs)

PADI IDC staff instructors have ascended past the introductory professional levels and proved they have leadership instructional qualities which will allow them to progres to Master Instructor with due experience.
