📚 What You’ll Learn
The EFR Emergency First Responder and Care for Children courses provide you with the essential skills to respond confidently and competently in emergency situations. In the EFR Course, you’ll focus on primary and secondary care, CPR, AED usage, and basic first aid, preparing you for a variety of scenarios—whether at home, at work, or in a dive-related emergency. The Care for Children course builds on this foundation, focusing specifically on the needs of infants and children, teaching you CPR and AED for young ones, and providing essential knowledge for dealing with injuries and illnesses in children.
Through hands-on practice, scenario training, and expert guidance, you’ll leave with a deep understanding of emergency care, equipped to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively. These courses are an excellent way to gain valuable life-saving skills, and are especially important for parents, caregivers, and anyone working with children.
This course introduces you to the essential use of emergency oxygen—an important skill for divers, boat crew, and non-diving companions. You’ll learn when and how to administer oxygen in diving emergencies such as DCS or lung over-expansion injuries, and how to set up and use the equipment safely and confidently.
Being an Emergency Oxygen Provider makes you a more capable and reliable diver. It enhances your leadership skills and prepares you to act quickly and effectively in high-stress emergency situations. This course can also be a crucial part of your journey toward becoming a Rescue Diver or Dive Master. This certification is required by law to work as a dive professional in certain countries and regions like Austrailia, for example.
