Prerequisites
To enroll, you must:
- Be in good general health
- Be at least 10 years old.
- Be comfortable in the water.
- Have basic swimming skills (swim 200m).
- Be able to float for 10 minutes.
What You’ll Learn
This PADI Open Water Diver course is designed to build your confidence and skills as a diver through three key training phases:
1. Dive Theory – Knowledge Development
- Learn the fundamentals of diving, equipment use, and dive planning.
- Study through PADI Open Water eLearning before arriving at the dive center.
- Review key topics and ask questions during in-person instructor sessions.
2. Confined Water Training – Skill Practice
- Conducted in a pool or shallow water to practice essential diving techniques.
- Master breathing control, buoyancy, mask clearing, and emergency procedures.
3. Open Water Dives – The Real Adventure Begins!
- Take your skills into the ocean with four open water dives at beautiful dive sites.
- Learn navigation using a compass and natural landmarks.
- Apply problem-solving techniques and emergency procedures during real-dive.

Total Duration: 3-4 days (flexible scheduling available).
Our PADI Open Water Diver Course in Pattaya can be completed in 3 days provided you complete the PADI E-Learning package before starting the water training portion.
