Our Wreck Diver Internship is an intensive Master Diver training program designed to take you from beginner to a confident, skilled wreck diver. Whether you want to explore sunken ships, planes, or artificial reefs, this program will equip you with the necessary skills, experience, and certifications to dive safely and efficiently in wreck environments.
Two Training Paths to Master Wreck Diver
This wreck diving program is designed to offer trainee divers 2 paths. Through a series of courses that build skills in wreck and deep diving while providing the necessary experience to become a Master Diver.
The full, end-to-end Master Wreck Diver program includes all core courses up to Rescue, five specialty courses, and a minimum of 50 dives. These courses include Open Water, Advanced, Deep, Nitrox, EFR Rescue, Sidemount, PPB and Wreck Diver.
For certified Advanced Divers, we offer a Specialty Package consisting of five specialty training courses. Divers who complete this package can register for the Master Diver rating later once they have attained Rescue certification and logged a minimum of 50 dives.
The program requires a minimum of one month of training. If you choose the Specialty Wreck Package, you will gain all the essential skills needed to become a competent wreck diver. Opting for the Wreck Diving Internship allows you to achieve Master Diver level with at least 50 dives, unlocking the experience required to progress toward Advanced Technical Wreck Diving.

Which Shipwrecks in Pattaya Will I Dive?
Pattaya is the wreck diving capital of Thailand, Our local Pattaya Dive Spots offer access to several incredible shipwrecks perfect for training. As part of your Wreck Diver Internship, you’ll dive on some of the most famous wrecks in the region, each providing unique challenges and opportunities to develop your wreck diving skills.
The Hardeep Wreck
One of Thailand’s most famous wrecks, the Hardeep sits at around 26 meters and is a fantastic site for wreck penetration training. This WWII-era cargo ship is covered in marine life and offers thrilling swim-throughs for those ready to explore inside.
HTMS Kut & HTMS Khram
These two former naval vessels were intentionally scuttled to create artificial reefs and training sites. Both wrecks rest at depths of 20-30 meters, making them ideal for practicing deep wreck diving, penetration techniques, and advanced buoyancy control.
HTMS Mataphon & the T-Wrecks
These wrecks add variety to your training, each offering different layouts and structures to navigate. The HTMS Mataphon is a smaller wreck, perfect for fine-tuning your wreck diving techniques, while the T-Wrecks provide a more challenging experience due to their depth and positioning.
The Bremen Wreck (Special Trip)
For those looking to experience history, the Bremen is Pattaya’s oldest shipwreck. Though only visited on special trips, it’s a must-dive for wreck enthusiasts, offering a glimpse into Pattaya’s maritime past. You might be lucky to see it if a trip is planned whilst you are diving with us!

Do I need prior experience to join this wreck diver internship?
👉 No experience is required. We include all required training from Open Water Diver to Master Diver. If you’re already certified, you can start from there. If you simple Specialty Wreck Package that an option too.
How long does the wreck diver training take?
The full wreck diver package program takes about 3-4 weeks min, depending on your current certification level and diving experience. The training schedule is flexible and based on your needs and requirements.
What wrecks will I dive in Pattaya?
Pattaya is the wreck diving Captial of Thailand so you have access to several shipwrecks. You’ll dive on famous wrecks like the The Hardeep, HTMS Kut, HTMS Khram, as well as HTMS Mataphon and the T-Wrecks for sure which offer depths from 20m-30m. You may also dive the Bremen which is Pattayas oldest shipwreck, visited on special trips.
Can I continue to technical wreck diving after this?
👉 Yes! Our program prepares you for Advanced Technical Wreck Diving, including decompression, mixed gas, and penetration diving. We have a full technical diving program too which you could move onto after this wreck diver training into a full technical diving internship
Do I need to buy special equipment for wreck diver trainig?
No, we provide all the necessary dive equipment for your wreck diver training, though rental is required. However, if you’re looking to build your own kit for wreck diving, consider investing in essential gear such as a dive computer, two dive lights, an SMB (Surface Marker Buoy), a dive knife, a reel, and either a slate with a pencil or a wet notebook. These items will enhance your wreck diving experience and safety.
